A Message to Our Valued Patients:
Texas Governor Greg Abbot announced that some statewide COVID-19 mandates will be lifted as of 3/10/21, the most important of those being the mask mandate.
As we know, although vaccines are being distributed throughout the state, COVID-19 remains a serious concern in our state and new cases are still being confirmed daily.
In the continued effort to keep our community safe, we will still require the use of masks while in our office. We are continuously committed to ensuring the safety of both our staff and our patients amidst the ongoing pandemic.
In addition to required mask use, our office will continue practicing all COVID-19 safety protocols, including constant sanitization of the office, and social distancing where possible.
Thank you for your continued understanding and support. The safety of our staff and patients is, as always, our top priority.
Thank you,
Valerie Baker, OD
Advanced Vision Care
To help protect the safety of all our patients & staff, we ask anyone that currently feels ill to please reschedule your appointment & to call your physician. This is especially true if you have a fever, cough, sneezing or shortness of breath. The same thing applies if you have had any of these symptoms in the last 48 hours.
Please also reschedule your appointment of you have traveled outside the US in the last 2 weeks to an area affected by the coronavirus disease.
We also ask for the patients to come alone to their scheduled appointment in order to comply with CDC recommendations. If the patient is a minor, then 1 parent or legal guardian will be allowed to come with the patient.
Thank you for trusting us to be your vision providers.
